"Howie & Karen were tremendous hosts and made my family and I feel extremely welcomed! They were even super cool with accomadating last minute changes to my booking. My two boys had a blast and they were surprised with an amazing breakfast the morning after! We enjoyed our time so much that we’re planning to re-book for next year around the same time! "Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return"

"Arrived 9 pm but was nice someone still there at desk to greet me. Very friendly. Room large, very old motel. Needs bit of an upgrade, as old bare bones, looking its age. Bathroom could use shelves, as small sink area, and need a plug for bathtub!! None to be found. Loved large kitchen space. Clean and well maintained for its age."

"The room and bathroom were clean but the bathroom fan was not working. I needed help with the coffee machine but a repair man came by right at the beginning of his shift to get the machine working. Magic fingers? All in all a very basic room but acceptable."
