"The free breakfast was appreciated, but the waffles were pre-cooked and tough as cardboard. A waffle maker would be a good improvement."

"Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Even had little touches that to us, make a big difference such as Bathroom night light; laundry facility, morning coffee in room and always a pot just inside the front door. Breakfast room had only 2 tables but had trays to take Breakfast to the room. Patio off room was wonderful and we sat there enjoying the views. Only negative was the hotel had stairs only to access our rooms. Was a surprise and a bit difficult lifting our luggage up and...

"Breakfast was excellent; Staff are kind and considerate; Room is clean and heater/AC is quiet. Only one tiny drawback, parking spaces in tge front. Just not enough. Otherwise, everything was a 5 star rating. Thank you."

"Our room was spacious and clean with a gorgeous harbour view. All grounds were very well maintained. Though off-season the restaurants were open, the outdoor pool was inviting to soak in heated water and we never felt something’s missing. Only the gym needs a bit more attention. Over all, Poet's Cove Resort is a great location to enjoy a couple of days in calm surroundings off any beaten track."
