"We stayed here on Wed 27 May - Sat 30 May 2026. A family of 5 (Myself, hubby, 3 daughters aged 26,18 & 16). Firstly, Hilton QTN is like a maze, make sure someone can help show you to your room, we got lost trying to find it ourselves, luckily a cleaner helped us. We had the Hilton Lakeside 2bdrm suite (Room 102). 1 bdrm had a queen bed & the 2nd bdrm had x2 single beds. One of my daughters had to sleep on the couch (which was fine by her) plus State of Origin was on + she had the TV to herself haha. There was an option to add a fold out bed but that would've cost 60per night, so I passed on that! I did need to request more blankets for her even though there was a fireplace. The room had x2 ensuite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (which I didn't need to use cos we dined out most of the time). The room also had a laundry (washing machine & dryer) which was handy as I certainly made sure to use it every day. The view from our balcony looked over the Wakatipu lake & mountains - absolutely breath taking views everywhere!! Its actually impossible to take bad photos anywhere in this city. Parking is additional ($20 per night) make sure you pay this or you'll get stung with a parking bill like I did! The breakfast was delicious, thankfully we were able to take some with us on our excursions which saved us some $$. The pool & spa is fantastic after being out all day. Staff were soo helpful too. Overall a great place to stay, pricey, but great :)"

"The hotel was generally very good, good location quiet and staff were very nice, restaurant and bar were also good but it has strange house keeping they never came until close on dinner time I have never seen this anywhere before and not just one day which is really inconvenient. Also the gym is down at same level as the car park with no swipe card for entry so anyone could enter so my wife didn’t feel safe also machines faced the wall not the door, they were reasonably old which didn’t match the hotel. I would stay again but hope the hotel makes changes."

"The Hotel is good value close to the Airport and about 15 minutes from Centre of Queenstown. The room is basic but has everything needed for a short stay. Our room did have the sound of running water through the night so not sure if it was the air conditioning or noise from another room."

"This is 100% not a family apartment. It is a 1 bedroom apartment. Not exactly their fault but I searched up 4 adults and 2 rooms and this listing came up when I was making the booking. It did say 1 room in the listing however I just assumed that was meaning 1 apartment as it also said 2 beds. Plus why would it come up as a listing under those search requirements so technically Expedia's fault. The apartment was 1 bed and 1 sofa bed in the lounge area however on the listing it says 2 beds. The bed and pillows were the cheapest quality, had the worst night sleep. The wifi password is incorrectly show, it’s just the numbers. Parking is all over the place, numbers are not sequential and jump from 410 to 201 - we never found our car park and just parked wherever. There’s nothing actually wrong with the property but was just advertised wrong. The only benefit was that it was cheap but we could have gotten 2 rooms in a hotel for similar pricing."

"Wasn’t my best experience this time. No furniture that made it easy to continue work or even have a meal there which I found odd. Booked a mountain view room which I did not receive. I would reconsider if I would go back again. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy."
