Clean rooms and bath area. Nice firm mattress. Nice pillows. Tile flooring in rooms and corridor can be noisy and cold. Great for business travellers.

Bad Experience
Very bad experience. Took 2 rooms and stayed 3 days. Both rooms not cleaned even once despite sign hung on door and verbal request to cleaners!!!. They only come to clean around 630pm when we were busy getting ready to go out for dinner. Towels were replaced but looked greyish. Would not recommend to friends.

Hotel room bed have stain but was fine overall, bath room pipe there is water leakage, turn out we help them to fix it, overall if you are just looking for a stay, I feel is fine to stay at this hotel. Cheap & good plus is in town area😊

Disappointed hotel
The hotel location is good with the kind of rate offered and looks like new hotel from outsude, but the management team of the hotel is week. Just imagine, you can see the front desk staff check-in customer while having her lunch at front desk (I experience it when I’m checked into that hotel). Front desk staffs are not so friendly, when I check in, maybe I’m disturbing her lunch time “I got no eye See”. Room space is just nice, but cleaneness is an issue here. Stained bedsheets found, and WC toiled stained on also. Shower head also not function properly for my room. Sooner the hotel gonna become hookup hotel/hourly hotel, if they still continue with this kind of service.

No recommend for staying any more
this is not the 1st time I stay at T+ macallum hotel but this time really worst experience for staying , 1st go into the room(room no 220) there was terrible smell and request for changing room , stuff at there say no more room , but during I check in that time only 2.10pm and car park got only less than 10 cars on it, then the stuff call room service for checking and room service only used aroma spray to spray to cover the smell then after that the toilet shower not function and call maintenance for repair .the pillow cover and bed sheet cover not clean and with dirty mark . below aircon at wall site like got water mark with fungus sign then toilet ventilation fan look like wanna to fall down . I also dunt know why no up keep for this hotel for all facilities.

'OK' stay
a very minimal stay. no fridge. bed-sheet is yellowish. no safety deposit box. suitable for those who wish to stay and explore penang old town as there are many old shop houses around.

Hotel with affordable price at Ideal Location
The Location of the hotel is very convenient to move around, room is clean, but don't expect much for a hotel at this budget in City center. Not much facility available nor entertainment in hotel beside TV, but as the location is at the city center you may find place to hang around.

Hotel Feedback
Generally the hotel is good, strategically located and close to town area. The only slight disappointment we had was there was no towel ready in our room which we need to ring them to bring it over, and they didn't change our used towel on the next day's room service; the room access card was unfortunately disabled on the next day when we got back after breakfast. Other than these, the rest are good especially on the comfort level.

Wouldn't stay again
Spent 3 nights at the T hotel and I wouldn't stay there again. It's a fair way from anything so we had to use Uber's which isn't a big deal but is a bit annoying. We hardly ever had hot water and when we did it was only slightly warm not hot. Every day the hallway and the elevators smelt strongly of smoke, which was a horrible way to wake up every morning. The cleaners must have been smoking on the hotel. When I told reception about this issue they gave me a can of cheap odour spray to spray in our room once which did nothing. The air conditioner turned off at around 5am every morning which I couldn't stop. Once it turned off the room got very hot and woke us both up. Don't waste your money on this place, I would have been happier staying in a backpackers hostel.

Quality dropping
Bad sound proof if your room facing road, can hear sound of motorcycles clearly. The room was not ready when they passed us the key. Room was open up wide and towels are not inside. Rooms in first floor are dirty and smelly. Quality is dropping.

Location is not really convenient. Bedsheets were stained. Staff forgot to top up the toilet roll when making up the room. Had to ask for towels when I first checked in and saw that my room had none. Overall, okay for a budget hotel.

Hotel felt different from the pictures. Wifi connection was weak, towels felt dirty. Staff was not helpful in assistance. Overall, disappointed stay i would rather choose to stay in container/capsule hotel.

the first room offered wasnt cleaned at all, means after the previous customer check out, they did not tidy and clean. of course we request to change to another room ..well, it look clean but when i check the bedsheet, it is dirty.... and the next morning i ask to change a new set, they jz tidy back and use back the same one.. WILL NEVER back again
