I was happy with the breakfast, a lot of asian varieties i enjoyed. I was happy with the availability of iron and ironing board in the room; safe the fuss of asking it from the reception. I was dissapointed with the room. The room and the toilet hadan unpleasant smell. The housekeepers dont change our towels and bedsheet during the morning room make over. At least a receipt for the hotel stay should be made available when checking in, cause i didnt receive one. I had to go to reception again to ask for the receipt as i will be making claims for the hotel stay. Seri Malaysia was a great hotel back then, i dont know why lately the quality has been an ultimate dissapointment. Its a shame cause we barely have a Malaysian brand that we can be proud of.

Furnishing is abit old. Quite empty and quite place and gave me some creepy feelings when walking towards my room. Power socket for TV not functioning. There were ants on the table. Water drainage for shower is clogged. Breakfast is not bad.

A pathetic hotel

Stayed in this hotel due to where my friend was staying and proximity to the airport. Good Points 1. Has impressive exterior and lobby area. 2. The staff at reception are competent. Fast check in and check out. 3. Reasonable Malaysian breakfast. But no eggs in the menu, a big drawback a d disappointment. 4. Good kitchen staff. 5. A small pool available. Drawbacks 1. Gloomy room, very dim lighting. 2. Very poorly maintained room, ample signs of dirt and filth visible. 3. The housekeeping is the biggest drawback of the hotel, clumsy, sleepy, dont do their work meticulously leaving the room half clean and half dirty. Did not change towels, do not provide floor mat or wiper in the toilet which has no curtains in bath area. Pathetic water pressure, inconsistent hot and cold water inflow. 4. Bathroom in Room 111 had leaky floor tiles with water seeping out and never dry. 5. No Refrigerator or security safe deposit box in the room. Overall not a hotel worth the price we paid. Should not have charged more than $25 per night. A hotel not recommended for any kind of traveller.
