"Wonderful staff. Excellent location. Room was small but manageable."

"We arrived with a confirmed booking (2 rooms) at almost midnight, only to be told at reception they were fully booked. No further explanation or assistance in helping us get alternative accommodation, so we were stranded in Edinburgh with nowhere to stay. Ended up having to return to the airport and waituntil 8am for a flight home. "This is a lovely, old barony house. It is not a pristine chain hotel. Give yourself plenty of time to roam the house and grounds. This place is breathtaking! "Staff great, rooms ok as long as you dont intend to spend much time in them. Sleep average. All in all ok."

"Everything was great!"

"Well located near Royal Mile and Castle."

"Beautiful hotel and everything very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable stay. They were able to hold our bags. Would stay here again, do recommend"

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"Amazing breakfast. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent location and helpful staff."
