"Hands down one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Stayed in the deluxe king ocean and the view was incredible! The rooms were clean, the staff were nice and the amenities were so well maintained. Highly highly highly recommend if you are coming to the Gold Coast since it is right by the beach and walkable to a lot of places! Will come back for sure!"

"Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel restaurant had a great selection of meals and the food was excellent. The room comes with a beautiful buffet breakfast with lots of selection. My only complaint was that the twin king beds needed a mechanism to lock the wheels. When you tried to get into bed or sit on the bed, the entire bed slipped away. Someone could fall and hurt themselves. But I would still highly recommend this hotel. "Everything is good about the hotel but the location is not very convenient. It takes about 30 minutes walk to the reef boat ports and 20 minutes to the downtown."

"The pool is shaded from the biggest building in Brisbane. Yes you get sun till 11 am in May but after that you need to relocate to a park for the sun. It’s an old hotel and has beer spilt smell in main hallway but otherwise good value."

"I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was average the variety of the basics it was convenient to have and go to our daily activities"

"Our room was not cleaned. When requested later in the day at 1pm, it was still not cleaned. A further request was made at 5.30pm and the bed was made but the rest of the room was not cleaned. No towels, bins full. After requesting a 4th time we were told that housekeeping finishes at 2.30pm."

"The property is almost next to the beach. It has magnificent reef views. Shuttle bus to the town centre is very frequent. Breakfast is average, but the tropical fruit is very fresh. The check in area is spacious and staff is friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle is very convenient. The down side is that the place is quite dated. Room decor should be freshen up a bit. The bathroom and toilet are felt several decades old. In general, we had a good stay."
