"I recently stayed at Seda Ayala Center Cebu, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also several issues that made the overall experience average. First, I want to say that the staff and service were very good. The employees were friendly, responsive, and did their best to address concerns when they were brought to their attention. The breakfast buffet, however, was fairly average and the selection was somewhat limited for my taste. Unfortunately, during one morning at the dessert station, I noticed a small cockroach on the desserts. I informed a staff member, and she quickly came over and removed it. I advised that the entire area should be replaced, and to their credit they did change the items in that section afterward. Still, seeing that in a food area was concerning. The gym was fine in terms of temperature, but the equipment itself was quite dated and could definitely use an upgrade. As for the hotel itself, it feels quite dated overall. The hallways still have older carpeting from when the building used to operate as a Marriott, and the lighting on the floors is very dim, giving the hallways a somewhat gloomy feel. The exterior windows and outside areas also looked like they could use a good cleaning. My room itself was clean, and thankfully I didn’t encounter any pests there. "On check in Cedric gave us an upgrade which was lovely of him so a massive thank you, at breakfast a young lady I believe called freebi was so helpful the full stay, when my wife was unwell she made up a box of pastries for the room and the next day she saw me sat at the bakery and made a point of asking how my wife was, she really is a star ⭐ "

"the hotel was ok, but if I will comment, these hotel is good only when delegates or group meetings are held like weddings. not suited for family or guest of 2? why? the rooms are big but only 1 lounging chair available, no center table where you can eat, no dresser stool, no hair dryer, no iron, completely disgusted. i will not comment further more, thank you"

"I strongly advise against staying at the Sheraton Cebu. What was supposed to be a premium experience turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. Here are the reasons, based entirely on actual experience: 1. Completely Unacceptable Soundproofing (Premium Room) I booked one of the highest-tier rooms, just below the Presidential suite, expecting a quiet and comfortable stay. Instead, the room had virtually no soundproofing. I received repeated calls—until 3 AM—complaining about noise, even though the only thing playing was the default hotel introduction video on the TV. For three days, I couldn’t even have a normal conversation inside my own room. This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be luxury. 2. “Luxury Sedan” Pickup Was Misleading and Poorly Managed I reserved a top-tier sedan for airport pickup. What arrived was a Mercedes B-Class—far from a luxury sedan. At the airport, the assigned staff was sitting in a corner, making them extremely difficult to locate. After finally finding them, I had to wait another 10 minutes for the vehicle. 3. Second-Day Transportation Failure On the second day, I scheduled a car for 6:30 PM. I ended up waiting outside for 40 minutes and only got the car at 7:10 PM. It appears the hotel does not operate its own fleet but outsources vehicles. The car I received smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which is completely unacceptable. "
