Capsule Hotel Anshin Oyado Premier Tokyo Shinjuku Station

4-2-10 Shinjuku, Tokyo - Map
"Nice close to Shinjuku train station"
The hotel is easy to find, great location about 10 min walking to the Shinjuku Gyeon National park, to city tower....The facility is clean and provide a breakfast and free drinks 24 hours. Staffs are friendly and some knows a little English and could explain the rule although it is a challenge for the first time traveler to this type of the hotel, but is a great experience.

"Cube Hotel First Timer"
First time staying at a "cube" hotel, more due to my procrastination of booking a hostel than anything else. While it wasn't located in the heart of Tokyo, it's literally next door to the Kuramae Station which I took everywhere, and a short walk from the bustling Asakusa district. In terms of facilities, the place was cleaned impeccably on a daily basis. I stayed for 4 nights and can't complain. The bathroom came stocked with just about every amenity you could think of. Disposable body-washing towels? Didn't know that was a thing. Washing machine and dryer were 3 USD and 1USD a load, respectively (dryer didn't dry completely, but set my clothes out overnight and mission accomplished). Only potential downsides were: - people snoring in the same room (I brought my own earplugs but the bathroom was stocked with disposable ones) - no gym facilities (I mean, I would have loved to burn off the mass quantity of noodles I consumed) - not a 'hostel' experience (nobody in the common room spoke, definitely more of a hotel with a shared living space) Would recommend this cube hotel to anyone traveling alone to Tokyo due to the price, convenience, and comfort.

"Very close to places!"
The staff was super very soooo friendly. The room was quite small but it did not matter to me since i just needed a place to sleep. The hotel is very close to everything you probably need! BUT what people said about the cigarettes smoke is real!! NOT recommend to anyone who dislikes the cigs smoke... the struggle is real.

Capsule Value Kanda

"Ok if you want cheap and clean hotel"
It is ok if you want cheap and OK capsule hotel. Bad thing is you have to check out ever morning and you have to organize your stuff everyday since you won't have your own locker for everyday. The locker is not that big anyway so your luggage have to be left on shared area. But other than that the hotel mostly used by Japanese themselves. The room are clean and decent. For me for this price I ok with it.

"Authentic Japan Experience, Can't wait to return! "
This is not a hotel! It is a 2 bedroom apartment in the traditional Japanese style. It was cozy and showed what it was like to live like the locals. There is no elevator so we had to walk up 4 floors, but the ceilings are fairly low so it was like 3 US stories. We slept in one bed room and used the second as a dressing room since it was just 2 of us but it fits 5. The bedroom had legit Japanese style futons on tatami mats on the wooden floor, it delivered the authentic Japanese home life as depicted in anime. Because it was an apartment there was no room service, but there are plenty of stores, restaurants, and bars nearby. Instructions and maps all in English were left for us on the kitchen table as well as a hot spot to borrow for the week. We went in winter so it was cold and only the bedrooms have heaters. No central air/heat like in the U.S. but smaller units like in Puerto Rico, which we got used to quickly. Bathroom was interesting with complete instructions on how to use the shower and bath tub and the restroom were separate rooms like in many Japanese homes. Because it was an apartment, we had to clean up after ourselves and left things how we found them. You receive the email with a map on how to get to the apartment, but you cant see the street names, you should google it first with street names. We were lost for a bit getting there, but once we found it it was easy. There were good landmarks, like a pedestrian bridge marking left at the next light for Toyatama.

"Nice hostel"
We stayed 2 nights. They got everything you need for a short trip. Close to a subway stop, friendly employee. The only "bad" point would be the slow elevator :D Thank you Kiba Hotel!
