We recently stayed at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu as a couple and were very impressed. The property itself is stunning and feels very luxurious. Our room was surprisingly spacious and spotless—definitely one of the cleanest and largest rooms we've experienced in Tokyo. A huge thank you to the helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. This is my 2nd time staying at this property and absolutely love it. A huge bonus is a direct connection to the subway system which is a huge plus. The rooms are large and the bathroom setup is amazing (rainfall shower head, tub and another handheld shower section). Concierge helped us get 2 very difficult reservations (Sukiyabashi Jiro Honten in Ginza, Tokyo and Jiro Roppongi)

There are plenty of 5 star hotels to choose from in Tokyo but we were glad we chose this one for our first trip to Japan. The room was comfortable and blended Japanese and Western styles and was serviced thoroughly every day. We made good use of the club lounge for breakfasts, snacks and drinks in the evening and had dinner one time in each of Origami and the teppanyaki section of Suiren, the fine dining restaurant. Each time the food was excellent and well-presented. What really stood out for us though was the staff. Each and every one was unfailingly polite, welcoming and helpful, with good English. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tokyo next time we come.
