Hostel was great but most of the guests are Chinese. And the lobby is not so inviting that you can meet fellow travelers. Also many of the Chinese smoke in the dorms, even knowing that it is not allowed. Overall a nice place, but next time would pay a bit more and go to a traveler's hostel.
Basic hotel. The beds were comfortable but minimal. The shower was filled with mildew. For the price it was decent. Could definitely be improved, but I would tell someone it is ok for a cheap night's sleep. No bugs or pests.
good stay overall. nice and fast check in. quiet area and had a good rest. neighborhood is not too bad. 25 min taxi ride to pudong airport.
Arrived late at night - there was a mix up with the payment of the stay. I thought that Expedia had included the bill with my payment of the package but not so!! The staff kept on insisting on payment I just wanted to sleep!! So I said I would deal with it in the morning. It was already 2am! At 7am ...

Luckly I had enough chinese cash to pay for the room. Desk agent was very ...
Conveniently located to take the subway to the airport. However, the subway starts there at about 6:30am. I had an early flight and so I needed to leave a little earlier than that and so I had to take a taxi instead which costs about 80RMB.
Good location by metro lines. Only 3 minutes walk from metro station. Regrettably free Wifi can only be accessed by mobile device with China SIM. Unfortunately there are no food court and restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is very close to the subway and People’s Square. The rooms and grounds were very clean. There is a convenience store across the street that serves 711 style coffee. The internet and WiFi was very fast which was awesome! The hotel staff were helpful for the most part. The only con was that ...
