"Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. Over the years, we have stayed in excellent hotels around the world, and this one ranks among the best. Exclusive, exquisite, and refined. Highly recommended."

"Stunning views, beautiful location although a bit out of town, easy quick drive though. Slow wifi although better if you’re in reception. No smart tv or streaming which was rough with the kids as theois no abc kids or kids channel. Hotel is a bit dated. "

Staff member advised it’s heated but when the weather is cold the pool can’t heat itself. It was approx 12 degrees when we were there. Seems a waste of electricity heating it year round when it’s not really suitable. My partner had a cold plunge and was nice to get in the spa after it, but it also had its downfall when you had to get out of it and it was cold. Would...

"NO BREAKFAST GIVEN THAT WAS DIFFICULT"

"If you’re looking for a good location, roof above your head, and basic necessities, it’s fine. Staff was great. Washer ruined my clothes. Dryers didn’t dry clothes. Bed sheets had weird stains on them. It was whatever. I feel like it looks luxury in the pictures but it was definitely not, at least in the room we stayed. But it worked for what we needed."

"It was a quick walk to shops and great food options. Parking was available on site. The staff was great when I asked questions, they were very helpful. The room was beautiful! I slept so well. I had a great stay! I would stay there again. I also used the mini fridge and the kettle."
