"Absolutely perfect location if you’re looking for something within a very short walking distance from any of the sporting venues in the area. I was somewhat skeptical at first regarding the parking, as I usually stay at a different location with free parking included. However, there is a lot located directly next-door with secure parking available for only $28. This place was an easy five minute walk from the Fox Theatre. I would absolutely make this my preferred place to stay in the future! While we did not utilize the free breakfast in the morning, the common areas we passed through on our way to our room were beautiful. This is obviously an old historic home that has been restored and converted to a BNB style inn, and has a very home- like feel. I did not miss the all night noise and smell of the chronic in the hallways. We always experienced staying at certain casino hotels. "

"The staff, cleanliness, and proximity to downtown & bus lines made our stay at Cambria 5 stars. The staff are amazing! I cannot say it enough. We loved their friendliness and how helpful they were. Felt safe walking around the downtown and especially the area around the hotel. The hotel & rooms are super clean and have everything you need. There was even a place to fill up water bottles. Will definitely stay here on any other visits to Detroit."

"We stayed in a lot of hotels and accommodations over a 3 week period whilst travelling. I'll start with the positives... The room was a great location for Comerica Park and theres plenty of room. Check-in process was easy. The cons...the bed was so uncomfortable I had the worst night sleep, the sofa bed which my child slept in was the same and sagged in the middle, was not clean and also uncomfortable. The deposit was taken days before arriving which was more than any other places we stayed at (most of not all took it at time of check in) and I got it back a few days later after asking for it (other places gave it back after check out)."

"The property was affordable, clean enough, and had coffee and breakfast snacks. A lot of parking. Close to a lovely park. The staff was really nice and very accommodating. I will never stay here again. The rooms have no sound insulation; it's loud all through the night. It does not feel safe. The cleanliness was just okay enough not to check out. It is not centrally located downtown. "
