    We booked a “Studio 2 Queen Beds” that listed the accommodations for up to 5 people. Photos of the room showed 2 regular queen beds, as well as the listing on Expedia indicated that the room came with a Queen sofa bed. It did not come with the sofa bed, so we were forced to rent an extra room to accommodate the number of people (there were 5 of us). The hotel was completely inflexible and blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed us for booking too few guests, and in the end we were out an extra $160 CAD for an extra room. Expedia claimed that the sofa bed listed was one of the queen beds in the “Studio, 2 Queen” listing, despite the face that it said it could sleep 5 people (which is not possible to do in 2 queen beds alone). Left a terribly sour taste in our mouth. The hotel staff seemed to have had identical issues, blamed us and were quite rude. If you don’t need a guarantee for the number of guests your room will accommodate, don’t worry. If you have more than 2 people, you may not get the room you booked. Be careful!

    We liked the location and that we were able to walk to the Filmore Theater and had many restaurants in the area.

    I noticed that the floors in the room and hallway were dirty. I got charged for an extra night for parking. If I didn’t scrutinize my invoice I wouldn’t have caught it. It was fixed but shouldn’t have happened. It was almost like the desk clerk didn’t believe me. Over all the friendliness wasn’t there. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

    This hotel was beautiful and the staff were super friendly and helpful. For the price, they could add some things to the room (full-length mirror, more pillows, better towels). Breakfast went above expectations, and check-in was extremely easy. Valet was backed up a few times, but they were doing their best.
