Parking was somewhat of an issue. The guy in lot next door to apartment charged us $50 to park from about 8pm to 10am. Plus we had to pick our daughter up from the airport, so my husband went back to talk to parking guy about getting out of fenced locked area at 10:30. I suppose the added cost of parking in a downtown city should be expected. But it would have been difficult to drop off bags and then park somewhere else. The apartment would be best for someone flying into DTW, then ubering or taxiing around or walking once there.

I would love to stay at this place again and give it another chance. What I did not like was that the hallways were filthy the elevators were filthy. The walls were filthy. The floors were filthy. It just seems that the cleanliness is not a priority. However, the location was great. I love the amenities in the unit.

The location was great because you can walk to nearby sightseeing areas and restaurants. I felt safe coming and going by myself and I also used ride shares when traveling farther away. Security was always present, very cordial and helpful. The room looked like the picture however it smelled like someone had a dog there previously. The floors were not very clean and just overall the apartment wasn’t clean as it should have been from the bathroom to the living room. The kitchen table was warped from water damage. Somehow flies were getting into the apt and I couldn’t understand why since no windows were open. If the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned I would rate this place a 10/10.

Great property. Central to dinning options and view of the Wayne County Building amazing to see the sculptures and great architecture designs. Would be 5 but as a previous medical staff hand soap is crucial and the body wash/shampoo/conditioner pumps were all broken. However, the security downstairs was nice enough to get me some hand soap and body wash. Every one nice in the building and the mobile door lock feature a plus. 7 Eleven right downstairs that was a plus and very friendly police officers always outside patrol. My stay was great already recommended to two coworkers to check for Sonders apartment in New York where they will be stay in a few weeks

The unit was great. Big, clean, well-equipped. The immediate area might not work for some. There is a 7-11 next door that attracts some panhandlers. Lively nightlife brings a strong police presence including metal detectors right outside the entrance to the building. We didn’t see any problems, everyone seemed chill and having a good time. Lots of restaurants and bars. Easy, cheap parking. Access to public transportation.

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was spacious, clean, and stocked with every amenity. The bed was extremely comfortable (even the pillows!) and we slept so well. It was the first hot weekend of the summer, and the AC kept the room the perfect temperature, quietly. As for location, I've stayed in a few downtown Detroit hotels and I really enjoyed where this one was located. Easy walking distance to restaurants, or close the 375 if you're needing to get out of the city, or Jefferson Ave to go to Belle Isle for the day. We chatted with a few other guests while on the elevator and they all said the same thing about how great the rooms are. Sonder The Randolph is my new go to for visiting Detroit.

Conveniently located, we had the luxury of comfortably walking to several of our must-see sights. The relative ease of street parking was a pleasant surprise, and both the parking app Sonder app were easy to utilize. However, the cleanliness of the space was lackluster, at best. The floors were very dirty, the silverware soiled and the bedding mattress subpar. If visiting, double up on your disinfectants and invest in some disposable sheets.

This property was pretty great. I wish I would’ve known about the code ahead of time. We showed up a little late and I don’t know how I didn’t get the code but thankfully they had a security guard there and they helped me figure everything out. Overall, it was a great day. We stayed for my birthday and she didn’t even wanna leave the little apartment because she said it felt so comfy and was cute. We were able to easily walk to Little Caesars Arena for a concert… And the Detroit Tigers baseball field… We overall had a great day. All the amenities were there and the security is great because at night it’s a little sketchy.

The location was excellent and the unit had everything we needed. The furniture and paint was showing some wear from age and could use a refresh. The Sonder App accurately provided information and was easy to use. Overall, a very good experience.

The property is located within walking distance of shopping, dining, and entertainment. While visiting we went to a concert and hockey game at Little Caesar’s Arena. Very quick and easy walk. Also close to the walkway along the river. Apartment had everything that we needed for the weekend. There are several parking garages within two blocks for easy parking. Would recommend this property.

This was a great option for DT. Clean, good location and used spot hero to find a parking spot. The only issue is the app didn’t work to open the outside door. Maybe bc it was cold?? I would stay again.
