Most of the staff were actually very nice when I had a problem I was able to reach the general manager. The issue was is the problem couldn’t get fixed, which might have had a little more to do with Expedia but the issue was I had only two days to be in Detroit and decided to spend a little more money for a week, but I was called smallest bathroom in the hotel I mean tiny! I just thought it was ridiculous to charge $550 for a suite and be given a bathroom the size of a shoebox! My biggest issue with the hotel and the way it function was it just didn’t seem as if the management was allowing enough staff to be working at one time in order to help the large amount of customers that were there at the time! The place was pretty much full every time I had a question or a problem or any issue it was very hard to get the front desk to pick up the phone and if I came downstairs to ask personally, there was a line of six people almost always! Once I finally got a hold of the staff member everybody was pretty helpful though! The place is a little old and a little dated, but the people are tall in the location is nice! The views are pretty cool if you have time to enjoy them!

Eugene with valet is great guy. Overall staff very friendly. Not sure why I paid $800 for two nights in a room that had paint chipping off the door, the shower head coming off the wall, a broken table top, and the most disgusting looking vent right above the shower that clearly has never been cleaned before. I pay more money for exceptional quality, otherwise I would’ve went to the holiday inn.

I loved my stay and the view in my room. It was very clean and fully stocked. The lobby and valet staff had excellent customer service. I truly enjoyed my stay and I will definitely come back anytime I visit Detroit.

Another great stay here. Everything was clean, worked as it should, and staff is always pleasant. First time trying the breakfast buffet and it was very good. Convenient location to downtown. Around the block from the frr "people mover" which does a loop and takes you to different areas of downtown. Amazing water/Canada views. Pool and hot tub is a nice way to unwind. Haven't used the fitness room but there is one available. A little pricey but the convenience, cleanliness, and safety is worth it.
