"Wir hatten wunderschöne Zimmer in den neuen, angebauten Lodges mit Terrasse. Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte, ist dass die Zimmer sehr warm sind und man nicht richtig lüften kann. Es gibt nur die Glas-Türe und ein Kippfenster im hinteren Bereich. Das Essen im Restaurant 1892 ist hervorragend und auch das Frühstücksmenü lässt keine Wünsche offen. "The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. "

"Only a one night stay with our son and new wife to celebrate their wedding that day. Staff were amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Made use of the pool and sauna and quiet areas although had to stop using the pool for the aerobics class. Had dinner in the Upper Deck restaurant which was lovely. Again brilliant staff who new their stuff"
