"Clean, comfortable hotel, excellent for getting into central London as apsley train station is a 2 min walk. Also close bus links if needed and good car links (M25, M1 or A41). Parking onsite can get busy but we managed to get a spot when needed. Breakfast was good and included in room rate which was appreciated. Friendly staff, room was clean and had everything you need (hairdryer, ironing board, kettle, TV, USB slots etc). Personally, we found the bed a bit small (queen size double) and firmer...

"A few niggles getting into my room but this was quickly rectified. Service was great. Alisha looked after me on arrival, and was very helpful. The lock on the door was faulty so she ensured this was sorted out as I needed to pop out. True to her word was resolved on return. Very friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Room was nice and clean. Nice view of the brook from the window. No evening meals at the moment, but there are two pubs across the road, one of them offers a 10%...

Located in the centre of Watford, and conveniently situated 2 minutes walk from the station, this is now my go to for stays in Watford and for business trips to London. Rooms are excellent sizes, and the additional amenities that you get (fridge, oven etc) make it stand out from the adjoining Holiday Inn. "

"Stayed here in a standard double room ,room was a good size beautifully furnished in a country inn style , excellent shower and comfortable bed, nice soft linen. Only issue pillows were very hard. Tea , coffee and biccies of good quality, even a teapot! Bar area was warm and comfortable didn't have and evening meal but breakfast options were substantial and reasonably priced. Staff were all extremely pleasant and polite creating a welcoming atmosphere. Free and plentiful car parking for hotel...
