I was also able to book Ha Long Bay trip directly at the hotel, so they were very helpful. Because it's on a smaller street, you will need to wheel your luggage to the hotel, not very far. Finally.... as of Jan 2026, Google Map has not updated the street view for Eli Rina, so you won't see it...

"The room was amazing and well kept , and the receptionist was very helpful. The only issues I had was find the hotel as it is hidden away past the alley way. Drivers wont be able to take you directly but will drop off at the street so expect a 3 min walk from the road to hotel. "

The rooftop common area was a nice touch if you would feel crowded in the room, but the overall space felt very homey. You can also refill your own water bottle. "The rooms were comfort and clean. The rooms were set up like small apartments, so it was lovely having a kitchen and a large refrigerator to use. Also, the hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter, close to everything. It’s tucked away down a side street, so it is very quiet at night. The staff was also wonderful. Especially Thomas. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"The unit is lovely—comfortable bed, deep tub, rain shower, smart tv, kitchenette, balcony. I stayed here for a good while (2.5 weeks) and I had a cold for about a week of that so I spent a lot of time in the room. It was very pleasant. The housekeeping is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes they’d take the bathroom garbage out but leave the kitchen garbage. Sometimes they’ll change towels regularly but other times, they would go like a week without doing that. But honestly it wasn’t a big deal....

"My partner and I stayed 5 nights and we found the apartment to be perfect for a trip to Hanoi. The location is perfect, easily walkable to both train street and the rest of Hanoi centre. The apartment is also sound protected by the walls of multiple governmental buildings so it is quiet at night and not affected by traffic in the mornings. The owner is the loveliest person ever, super responsive with great English skills. He answered all of our questions almost immediately and with very helpful...
