"There were fly traps in the hall, only one bed when we requested 2, no mini bar, spa, or restaurant as advertised. Moldy and mildew smell, water heater was coming out of the ceiling above shower. Gnats flying all around room. Only one towel. Fridge didn’t work. We checked out 3nights early (after first night) and were offered refund or different room which we would not have taken anyway. This was bait and switch hotel. Much better out there."

"First of all, the staff are wonderful. From the quick check in, polite greeting whenever returning to the hotel, the service at the roof top bar, to the arrangement of a trip to Ninh Binh, and a airport pick up, the service was exceptional. The location itself is great as there is plenty to eat and lots of great little boutique stores around the hotel. There is also a Viettel and HSBC atm about a 5 minute walk from the hotel so it's convenient to grab a SIM and cash at the start of your stay. The hotel and rooms are on the smaller side but that's part of the charm, and the rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. The roof top bar is a great way to finish the day, relaxing with a drink and enjoying the view of the city. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend!"

"When we checked in the room seemed normal however when we checked the bed the pillows had blood stains on it and blankets had lots of hair in it. The staff was apologetic and replaced the pillows and blanket which was also stained. The staff tried to contact management multiple times with no response which is unacceptable. We checked out on the first thing in the morning in our 3 day trip in which management hasn't offered any resolution or compensation. Would not recommend this hotel"
