Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wished the toilet was air-conditioned though as it's very humid and hot when you need to do your business. The reception area can do with some air-conditioning too as it's very hot and stuffy during check in.

Good for a short stay
I only stayed for one night. The little “villas” are nice. The enclosed bedroom is a decent size. I didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. The staff were friendly and the food from the restaurant was good. I had a massage included which was good. It is traditional Indonesian style so no private enclosed room, but was quiet and a good massage. My only complaint is the bathroom is not sealed off and there were ants and other bugs. It was also very hot.

When we first arrived we discovered that it was the street outside was too noisy for my husband and we requested that we move to the other side of the complex. This was done without any issues and very promptly. Thank you Royal Samaja. Once settled in to our 'new' Villa all was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful. I had two Balinese massages while we were there and Era was amazing. Once again thank you Royal Samaja for a great stay.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were originally in villa 2 and after the first night, the noise was a bit loud from the road. I asked to be moved and the next night we were moved to villa 1 which was perfect. I would stay again for sure and would recommend.

The villas are in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent, especially Santi who was so kind and thoughtful. The villas were kept spotless and were a welcome haven from the busyness. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Excellent accomodation and I would definitely stay here again .

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay in a fantastic villa. The facilities were excellent and the villa was lovely and clean (but would benefit from a bit of a refresh in some areas). The private pool was a decent size. The villas are in a good location, just a short walk into town, with the beach also within easy walking distance. The greatest strength of the villas is the staff. They were so welcoming, friendly and attentive, with nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay there again.

My stay at the villas was amazing. It was my birthday on one of the days and the whole staff welcomed me in the morning with cake and sang happy birthday. The cafe staff also sent in a cut out watermelon with Happy Birthday. It’s a real family vibe from the staff. The room weee clean, location was great!! The staff were all ways there to help with transport or any needs you need. Thank you to the staff for making my stay at the villas the best.

Super friendly staffs and always at the attention of their customers. Helpful as well. They wet above and beyond my expectations for my first time in Bali and Indonesia. Even offered us many complimentary. The restaurant was nice, food and drinks were good. Also super friendly staffs and excellent live bands on performing nights. Loved my experience and stay.

My wife and I can't say enough good things of this property. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and the hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that our stay was amazing. A special shoutout to the hotel staff (specially Restu & Bagus) for all of their help and coordination! It was my 1st international holiday as part of a couple & royal Samaja villas was an excellent choice. It is in a great location about 250 mts from Seminyak square & the new shopping mall. The staff are the nicest & most competent ones you will come across. Happy to help & just lovely. The only thing that wasn't fantastic was the breakfast selection & that I HAD to make a choice of what I wanted & at what time the day before. It was a bit restrictive. Also the day bed needs a good clean as the cover was quite dirty. Other than this, would highly recommend this place especially for their lovely staff ,who are the best. They kindly sang happy birthday & presented me with a cake for breakfast. Stay here just for them.

Excellent Stay
Staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for you. The spa is basic but excellent value for money. Location is good, within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes from the beach . One small criticism is that if you want a second cup of coffee with your breakfast they charge you for it which seems a bit mean.

Bali holiday.
We just returned from our Bali holiday. The place was fantastic. The location excellent, around the corner from seminyak square And walking distance to beach and Main Street. Most of all the staff were fantastic, nothing wasn’t possible. From the front desk, to the cleaning staff excellent!!! The restaurant/ bar very good and so is the breakfast which is included. Coffee great too! My wife and I thank the Royal Samaja for making our stay comfortable and memorable we had a lovely time and will definitely be going back!!e just

Definitely more like a 3 star property, bunch of rules, breakfast was pretty subpar in comparison to other villas and only thing good about this place is proximity to Seminyak. They have NO plugs near the beds and only one usable plug in the entire room!

As it was our first trip to Bali, my wife and I wanted to book something close to the action but also something that we could retreat to as well. Our villa was exactly that. We loved that it was only a 2-3 min walk to the busy heart of Seminyak where there was plenty of good dining options. It was also only 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The service from the young and enthusiastic staff at the Villas was warm and friendly and free airport pickup at 1am in the morning was an absolute life saver. During our stay we also enjoyed a couples massage and a cooking class (both run at sister hotel) and highly recommend both. A great little spot that we my wife and I would be happy to stay at again next time we are in Bali

Nice villa, convenient and comfortable stay.
We stayed at the Royal Samaja Villas for 2 nights for our honeymoon trip and upon arrival we were warmly introduced to our villa by Windy. Our villa was spacious and well-appointed with a nicely sized private pool. There was a nice outdoor shower and an indoor bath tub. It was also conveniently located just a short walk behind Ultimo restaurant along Eat Street and the villa provides a complimentary shuttle from 10am -5pm within Seminyak. There was also a complimentary 1h course provided to introduce Balinese culture and cooking which unfortunately we couldn’t attend as we had already made an early dinner reservation. Breakfast was tasty and the croissants were soft and fluffy. It was a good spread and both the local and international menu were delicious. Our room was always promptly made and the towels smelt fresh and clean. The staff also came by in the evenings to light up the mozzie coil and also left us a handwritten leaf wishing us a good night’s sleep. We felt that was a nice touch and it was always nice to return to our comfortable villa knowing that everything had been well-taken care of. The villa was located next to a busy street so vehicle noise can be heard at times, esp by the pool. The pillows were a bit too soft for our liking and perhaps the lighting at the dresser could be a little brighter. However, these were just small issues and do not detract from the overall great experience we had. Special thanks to Windy and our driver Putu for their hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful staff, from start to finish. We were wonderfully welcomed, the restaurant staff were lovely and we were also farewelled after our check out. The room was absolutely beautiful and it was the most comfortable bed we slept in during our 2 week trip.

We loved staying here, the staff are amazing and really make you feel like your their number one guests nothing is a problem and they are always 1 step ahead. The location in seminyak is perfect just far enough away so it's nice and quiet and still an easy 5 min walk to all the action . The villas are well set out and nice and clean and very private. The on site restaurant offers a great choice and the food was always really good and so well priced as well. The drink specials are also better than most other places we found

The hotel was nice, but there was a mosquito problem. There were mosquitoes everywhere and they bit us when we had dinner outside. I liked the privacy and the private pool because you can spend a lot of time in the pool.

Lovely, private villas close to Seminyak Square.
We were really made to feel that Royal Samaja Villas was our home away from home. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble!!! Our villa was comfortable, the pool and outside area private and everything kept spotlessly clean.
