"Just got back from a week long stay in Royal section of the Occidental. Cynthia at the concierge upgraded our room at no charge helped us find the best view possible and was extremely attentive to anything we asked. All of the staff was extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Room service always arrived in 20 minutes, a nice man provided chocolate pillow turn down service every night. Ricardo at the Royal Restaurant provided excellent service. We tried nearly every restaurant had no problems...

"Room was absolutely beautiful with picturesque views. Room was exactly as shown during booking. Property is very clean and quiet. Gali, Ramses and Adriana were always present to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were great to talk with and excellent resource to good food spots. I will definitely come back here."

"Great location - steps from the beach and minutes from the main strip/restaurants etc. The unit was clean and just as advertised. The small pool was perfect for our young kids. The host was friendly and helpful - she provided beach chairs and toys upon request."

"This is a boutique hotel right on the water with beautiful patios and rooms! We had the penthouse on the water and could see Cozumel lit up at night. The property was so clean and very well maintained. The rooms are very spacious and have kitchenettes with everything you need to cook. The staff is so attentive and humble and very kind. "Staff unfriendly at check in. Most places were not open. All rooms were rented had issues, chili g smoke detectors, that took two days to fix, broken phone, toilet and shower. Room decor for birthdays were not done, mine said happy honeymoon and I came solo. Just overall very dissatisfied with this resort. They need customer service help."
