If you are looking to be secluded, then this is the place for you. It is a very nice, large property and I love the fact that you can move between their sister resorts. But honestly, if it wasn’t for that, I am not sure if I would have enjoyed it here as much.

Bahia Principe Grand Tulum was a beautiful resort to stay, we upgraded our room and the only issue was we couldnt use the jet tub since the drain plug wasnt working and a door issue which they fixed promptly. It is a very large resort so any room requests such as towels, water typically didnt happen when requested. Besides that the resort itself was fantastic, the kids club must have been great since our kids didnt want to leave. Overall very satisfied with the property. Many different areas to spend the day at depending on what mood and vibe you are looking for. Lots of activities during the day and night around the pool and in the theater. Buffet was very good. Lots of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A la carte dinners lacked a bit. Expected more from the Mediterranean restaurant. Japanese and the Grande Tortuga were average. Definitely felt safe walking around and staff always made us feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend this property.

Check in process took forever. We were unable to get any dining reservations that we were interested in, and the beach area in our location was all rocks, we were not able to get in the water at all at the Tulum location.
