"We enjoyed our stay at the Riu Westminster. The location was ideal for us - walking distance to Westminster Abbey and plenty of other sites. Cab rides were generally well-priced (we used Freenow, London's Lyft), and there were many train and bus options available. The only thing to be sure you're aware of is the general tightness of the rooms - they are small. We were in a standard Queen. "The Rubens is a very nice upscale hotel with a great location in the heart of Westminster and literally across the street from Buckingham Palace. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable although very small. The food, unfortunately, is very mediocre although priced as if it was excellent. "Locke is a new hotel, located at the end of South Colonnade, Canary Wharf. Modern with open plan style incorporating cafe, bar and open seated areas. Staff were great; young and enthusiastic (Sophie and Conor were a delight). The only issue I had was checking in after 10:00pm took a little longer as reception didn't seem to be staffed. Rooms are great, well appointed and overall, I'll definitely be back."
