"A good hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Covent Garden and Westminster, steps from the Embankment tube. Worth booking for the location alone. Staff were attentive and kind. The hotel feels polished and upscale without being stuffy or dated, and the basics, air conditioning and shower, all worked as they should. A few downsides: the elevator was slow, leading to some long waits. Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors. The standard double bed was two twin mattresses pushed together, which was genuinely uncomfortable. I’m not usually picky about beds, but this was bad. No view either unless you pay extra for a river-view room. Would visit again, but in a different room."

"Perfect location, friendly staff clean hotel. Breakfast was nice a choice of buffet or al a cart same price.tea and coffee not automatically in the room but available for free on request but run out of milk, but the bar downstairs were kind and filled a little cup for free although separate business to hotel! Would definitely go again. 👍"

"Travelling on my own - checked in and was given the key to someone else room - so walked into someone else's room! As a solo traveler this made me nervous about staying in case it happened to my room. Was told i would be offered compensation - never was - ended up barricading myself in my room at night and had a terrible night sleep. All i got was sorry to hear that and asked to give my email. Terrible service and would not recommend for a Would not stay here again as a solo travller which is a shame as its great location. If you were staying in room 459 on Wednesday 13th May i have a photo fo the inside of you rrom that i took as evidence"

"Between a 3 and 4, had a room without a window which was the size of the bed and not much more, but helpful staff and asked for quiet and it was. Shower etc all fine. Only real criticism was that the bedding and duvet etc were all polyester and not great quality."

"Consider staying elsewhere! The first room was in very poor condition with a mouldy smell. Bathroom, furnishings & carpet dirty. 2nd room no better. Manager offered us our money back to find ourselves another hotel but we took 3rd room although this was only slightly better as no other rooms apparently available. After complaining, we were told hotel undergoing refurbishment. Reception staff not helpful. Prosecco offered but not delivered to room so had to request this the next day. Photographs were taken to prove condition of room. There were large Rentokil vermin trap boxes in breakfast restaurant seating area. On our last morning toilet would not flush and water filled to the top of the bowl. Breakfast selection was good. We had stayed before and were happy to return but this stay was not acceptable. After email complaint the offer of a room upgrade on a returning stay would certainly not encourage us to return nor recommend this hotel to any others to stay at this hotel. It has a great location but our standard room fell far short of being anywhere near acceptable standard. Extremely disappointing!"

10/10 Excellent

"Really warm greeting from the stsff as soon as we stepped into the hotel. Quick & efficient check-in. The room was cleaned to a very high standard. Plenty of choice at breakfast - everything from a full english cooked breakfast to a continental one. My only complaint was that there was no restaurant on site, only a cafe for snacks. Overall a great stsy & would definitely revommend."
