Location and Staffs are very friendly
The pool too small & not have any attraction for adults
I stayed with three friends in Langkawi Resort for two nights and it was a good price to value option. Hotel stuff was really nice and always ready to help. I would definitely stay there again.
The resort is quite old but the facilities are still nice and clean. However you may not compare it with a western standard. Most important it is a great location close to a lot of sights and the friendly staff takes great care of their customers. The price is great for what you get. That was our ...
Nice place with clean environment. Near Langkawi Airport but will need to travel out for any activities... Not many shop around the hotel area. Recommended for relax and slow pace travellers. But nice swimming pool and views.
This hotel is 2 star, it was good it had everything it said, good WiFi, breakfast although traditionally Malay which we don’t enjoy all the time, so toast and jam and coffee. There was no where to sit outside. The rooms were huge with very little funrniture only one chair and no extra table to put ...
A really nice room, but everything beyond your room is an example of what happens when you build a resort and do zero maintenance, management or staff training for six years. It's comical. It *could* be so good, but it really isn't. At $40 its worthwhile - don't pay more than that til the reviews ...
Featuring a lovely stretch of soft sands on the west coast of Langkawi island, Langkawi Beach is an ideal base for those looking for peace. It also offers convenient access to the warm waters of the Andaman Sea. In addition to swimming, vacationers are able to enjoy activities including banana-boat rides, windsurfing, and kayaking.
On land, the activity options are no less varied. You'll find everything from jungle treks to a game of golf at the championship Ernie Els-designed Datai course. Langkawi is not a big island and cultural hotspots like the Laman Padi Rice Museum, Langkawi Craft Complex, and the Ibrahim Hussein Museum can be easily reached. Island hopping tours take visitors to locations such as the Pregnant Maiden Lake on Pulau Dayang Bunting.
Beachside shacks serve up basic Malay food with satay and seafood fried rice. Langkawi Beach is only seven kilometres north of the more developed Cenang Beach. Langkawi Airport is between the two beaches. Arriving passengers staying at hotels near Langkawi Beach are provided with speedy transfers. Transfer times from Kuah Port are longer, but they still only take 25 minutes.

Where to stay
Although you'll find fewer choices of places to stay than at Pantai Cenang, there is a good assortment of hotels near Langkawi Beach. Tourists looking for something cheap with basic facilities will find the Idaman or Haliman guesthouses a good option. Between the mid-range and luxury hotels there are plenty of choices. The three-star Alia Residence offers premium rooms, a swimming pool, and onsite restaurant.
The advantage of upmarket Langkawi Beach hotels is that they have their own beach frontage. Their suites and rooms that are elegant and fitted with features such as big balconies, marble-finished bathrooms, rain showers, mini-bars, and satellite televisions. You can also also visit the infinity swimming pools and a selection of restaurants and spas. The Langkawi Lagoon Resort and its Ombak Villas come highly recommended.
