This hotel could definitely do with a lick of paint (and a few more power sockets in the rooms) but don’t let that distract you from this being an amazing place to stay. The staff were so friendly & helpful, the grounds were beautiful & the location was great. Highly recommend a stay, you won’t regret it

Great stay, peaceful and well located. Very clean beach and pool. Gardens well maintained. Staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was great very large selection of food. Would recommend to all.

Absolutely perfect. Right on the beachfront with options for where to eat and swim. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Cocktails in the pool, drinks at the tropical beach bar, and a stellar dinner at the glass bar. The price is so reasonable! We loved that families could be shouting and having fun at the pool, while we were listening to live jams at the Tropical Beach Bar

There was plenty of parking available. We liked the spa, the pool bar/restaurant, the beach bar with seating. Our room had a good view onto the garden, it was a quiet room - well appointed. Food in the pool restaurant was good. It was a bit out of the way of the main activities in the town but we were quite pleased - you don't miss much! Overall a very pleasant stay.

The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. The staff service was excellent. The front desk staff such as Ms Atirah and all her colleagues were very helpful and attentive, which made my stay at Holiday Villa truly memorable!

Great location.

Great location, fantastic service and facilities. Rooms unfortunately, very dated and in need of renovation and better cleaning. Great breakfast with many vegetarian & vegan options (my wife is vegan). Other than breakfast, vegan options non existent. Even the advertised ‘vegan wrap’ on the pool bar menu wasn’t vegan as it contained cottage cheese. No vegan options at the New Year Gala or Christmas Gala so we could not book and attend. All this said, we will be coming again because we really enjoyed our stay. I just hope the hotel read the review and make some small but needed changes.

Lovely location

The hotel is wonderfully located on the beach. Plenty of beds on the beach and around the pools. The infinity pool is MR30 extra per person, but a drink is included. We didn't feel the need to pay for this as the beach was great. We didn't eat at the hotel, the main strip is about 20-30 min walking distance with plenty of places to eat. Bobi's is 5 min away and i would recommend there. Rooms are clean but overall dated. For what we paid it was great.

The facilities were undeniably old, but the place was well-maintained and clean. The room we stayed in faced the beach and offered a wonderful view. I ordered food at a bar on the beach, but it hadn’t arrived even after an hour. When I told the staff, they sneered and said they hadn’t received my order. However, my credit card statement showed the charge for the order.

A good property for the price. It has a lovely pool and well maintained gardens. Breakfast was good with many options available. Rooms, whilst comfortable, are looking somewhat tired and in need of renovation, particularly bathrooms. The new infinity pool requires payment to use and very few people bother. Seems such a waste for a beautiful facility to sit empty. They need to drop this charge or make it adults only.

The room was dated, the breakfast extremely poor, no clean plates / cups and food never replenished. The staff are unhelpful. Great shame as looked so good. Beach is nice . The fact you can’t use the infinity pool without paying extra is a joke.

The hotel is a good value for the money, especially if you travel with kids. The hotel has a private beach, the service was good. When booking through Expedia make sure you take screenshots. I originally booked with breakfast and have received confirmation through the Expedia link then few days before departure the Expedia link confirmation had no breakfast listed on it. I called them and was advised that the breakfast was only considered as a special request..At the hotel the breakfast was complimentary for all while I was there however “DO NOT RELY ON EXPEDIA CONFIRMATION LINK” screen shot your booking.

Average service Stayed at the hotel for a week and a half. The view from the room is beautiful and the hotel has 2 swimming pool one of them is infinity which is MR 30.00 per day. Also has a jacuzzi which is nice and plenty sund beds by the pool and beach. However the service is not great as there not flexible at all, the breakfast was the same thing every day no local dishes I got fed up of seeing the same menu. Songs at the lobby and the pool also the same every day. Heard the same song more than 5 time. Parking is available for free. Good location and plenty of shops around. If you’re on a budget and looking for location this is suitable.

Honest review for a 3* hotel

The hotels setting is wonderful as are the gardens and the beach ( although needs some serious clean up of plastic) the breakfast can be busy but is generally good with a vast choice of food. The pool is very good as is the glass bar it feels odd paying extra to use the pool there though. The thing that lets this hotel down is that it is described as a 4* the rooms are very tired with old iron furniture that would look nicer in my garden , pvc cushions that belong in the 70's. The king size bed isn't a king size bed it's 2 beds pushed together. The paintwork is old not crisp and sharp. The a/c works if you want the room to be fridge like as it is on or off you can't adjust it. The bathroom smelt musty on arrival and we where to find out why soon enough. If you turn of the A/C due to it being like fridge the bathroom extractor also will turn off. We also had a leak from the toilet which we pointed out and was sorted, we also had water dripping from the ceiling as you walked into the room so put a towel down as it was dangerous, housekeeping didn't even notice and get it attended to. The bar on the beach is hit and miss wether they have the food available that is listed on the menu. The staff however lacking in some departments are very polite and nearly always acknowledge you.
