Other than the steep price to add a rollover bed (RM500/night), the rest of the facilities are excellent. Staff are warm and friendly and the location is just beside cenang beach

This hotel has good access from the airport and the staff are very attentive. It was impressive that all the buggy drivers were driving safely and the smiles of the children were overflowing. The level of quality, variety and taste of food is high. So, as a Japanese person, I had a very happy time. However, there was also a disappointing point. The front lobby doesn't have air conditioning and the ceiling is high, so the fan doesn't make much sense. So it was very hot and it was very painful while waiting. The air conditioning in the room is also poorly placed, so it is very cold or very hot depending on the position of the bed. I stayed in an ocean view room, but it was a pity that the view was not so good because the trees in front of me were in the way. In the past, I have stayed in several hotels in Langkawi, but this hotel has short opening hours for SPA. So even if I wanted to use it, I didn't feel like making a reservation. And I thought the drink menu was relatively small and expensive. With an extensive cocktail and tropical drink menu, guests will spend more time at the hotel than they do now.

The resort is nice and big with the beach right on the door step. The staff were really helpful. They would help with the heavy luggage and driving people around in the buggy. The rooms were spacious and clean with amenities provided. If you are lucky with the weather, the sunset is amazing.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the resort. The grounds are well maintained and full of lovely plants, flowers and palm trees. Our room along the beach was spacious, with an equally spacious bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the room down perfectly. The housekeeping staff, as well as the staff at reception and at the restaurants were always smiling and very friendly. The lobby and pool area were well looked after. The airport is only a 10-15 minute drive away. A few negative points - the food at the breakfast buffet was adequate, but the meals served at the restaurants for lunch/dinner were nothing special. In addition, quite a few sections of the resort are currently being refurbished, including the restaurant and some bungalows along the beach. While we realize renovations are necessary, this took away from the overall atmosphere and we unfortunately did not quite get to experience the picturesque environment that the photos online depicted. Finally, our room was located on the ground floor and now and then, we could feeling the vibrations of the people walking around above us. Therefore, it could be wise to request a room on the second floor if that sort of thing bothers you.

I love the traditional Malay house accommodation in beautiful gardens, although it is a little tired in parts. They are starting a refurb programme - though we were sad to see that they had changed the lobby from the original Malay long house to a bland lobby that looked like Starbucks. The staff are amazing - efficient and friendly. No alcohol served in the main restaurant! We had to perch in the corner of the lobby - not what I envisaged - so we didnt bother eating there again. The breakfasts were great. The beach restaurant - now being refurbed - definitely needed it. Generally there is not enough shade to deal with the 36degree heat - and not enough beds. The pool had small parasols that were next to useless - you had to keep moving the beds or the brolly to stay within the shade. Our flight was an evening flight - they let us keep the room until 1 but then the only 'courtesy' facility was a cold shower in the toilets by one of the pools - no toiletries- not even a hook for the pool towel. Their excuse was covid - doesnt justify that - not sure that its a 4/5 star hotel. Lots of signs saying what you cant do - think they should focus more on their guests and providing them with the things they need to have a comfortable/ pleasurable stay.
