"Not a good experience at all"

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark over Memorial Weekend and overall had a great time! The kids had a blast at the waterpark and the staff was very helpful. The only downside was the broken elevator, going up and down to the 5th floor every day with a baby and stroller was exhausting. Please get the elevator fixed. Other than that, it was a fun family trip!"

"The building could have better signage. It’s one big maze. There’s also not enough elevators in the facility. The pool area becomes very packed and sometimes there was not enough seating for everyone. They should enforce a 30 minute wait zone if no one comes to their claim chair my room washing machine was not working and the oven did not work. Had some pick ups. Had to call front desk a few times."

"We’ve always had a great experience at this hotel, which is why this past trip was pretty disappointing. As soon as we checked into our room in Building 9, we immediately noticed several issues. The room was very outdated, had a strong musty/mildew smell the moment we walked in, and there was an awful urine smell coming from the sofa area near the phone. It honestly felt uncomfortable from the start. Thankfully, we called right away and the manager, Maria, was very understanding and quickly moved us to a room in Building 10. The second room was a much better experience and we had no further issues during the rest of our stay, so we really appreciated how promptly she handled the situation. That first room, however, was definitely not acceptable, and I genuinely hope it gets addressed before another guest is placed there. Overall, this hotel can really be hit or miss depending on the building or room you get. You do get what you pay for, and while it may work fine for a quick, budget-friendly Disney weekend, I personally wouldn’t recommend it for a longer family vacation without being cautious about room placement."
