"The lobby is a little misleading. The place looks so amazing from the outside and the lobby as well. The staff we encountered was very sweet but the rooms were incredibly dirty. The floors and the walls were honestly disgusting. I will upload photos if I could. The floors were carpet meant to look like hard wood and were insanely stained. The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. It could be a nice place to stay if the host improves it, but as it is, it is definitely not worth the price! "

"My stay at the hostel was so close to a bunch of restaurants as well as the subway line and just a 15 minute walk to the Kyoto airport so it was really convenient! I got free towels everyday and laundry was just only 200 Yen for the laundry pods. The hostess (I'm sad I didn't get her name) was nice and kind as to show me how everything works. Japanese isn't required but it was nice for me to practice some of it with her. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Kyoto."
