"Mid-week, 2 night stay at this quiet mini-resort at the Pala Mesa golf resort, at a great price through Hotels.com. Things that need mentioning...the sink's drain plug was stuck in the closed position but I was able to it pry open with a small pocket knife ---no need to contact front desk and wait...wait... There is no coffee maker in the room but there's an expresso machine. Not an expresso user. Bed was very comfortable and plush. Bummer---breakfast (not free) is only served at the clubhouse...

"Staff is nice. Conveniently located next to the main thorough fare, but that means traffic noise. Newly painted, but over old and broken wood trim, doors, and walls. Squeaky floors. Good hot water but loose plumbing fixture handles and missing drain plugs. Shower head just the right height for somebody 5’-4” tall. Linen clean, but thread bare. Clean everywhere, except behind the furniture. WiFi connects but Internet doesn’t work. Hey, you get what you pay for and nothing more. "

"The place is very run down the pool had dirt in it and what's unusual and the gates were all broken people were nice wasn't worth the money and the breakfast was only waffles and some yogurt"
