"Wonderful setting. Easy access to everything: airport, Edinburgh, the north and west. Lots of history for those interested, two 18 hole courses, a pool and a health club."

"We had a one-night stay as we had an early flight the next morning. Loved the location of the hotel, right across from the car rental return and within a short walking distance of the airport. The Airlink 100 bus to Waverley Station/downtown went right by the front door too. The bar and breakfast buffet looked nice, although we didn't have a chance to enjoy either of them. I'd stay there again."

I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. "Stayed at n one of the ground floor rooms and although bedroom was comfortable with super comfortable beds and a desk and chair, the bathroom was somewhat dated. Clearly set up as a disabled room and the washbasin far too low for able bodied person. Shower cubicle was small with a black shower curtain, also very dated. Rest of hotel was fine and food very good value for money."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Linen Bank and would have happily given it 5 stars, but unfortunately the bed had a noticeable dip in the middle. We ended up placing a cushion underneath to raise it slightly and make it more comfortable. Aside from that, everything was great.
