It takes around 15min to walk to the main patong beach area with shops, and massage centres etc. however we wanted to stay in a resort which is not too far from the main beach and area but at the same time is peaceful and serene and Diamond Cliff was the best one for the same. "Had a beautiful stay at the Marriot Merlin beach resort, good view of the ocean, lots of activities to do within the resort, it’s a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Patong beach so you can get the peace and quiet. Highly recommended."

"The steps leading to the lift is very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. Should find a solution to make it easier. Not to mention the area is so small and narrow. Becomes very congested during high traffic. "

Breakfast buffet had a lot of options for kids and adults. Adult only pool is 12+ and faces the beach. The beach was spectacular, water was warm, clean and clear"

"We booked this hotel because the group we were traveling with chose it based on TikTok reviews. For the price point, I think we could have purchased something better. However, we really enjoyed the welcome drink, breakfast, spa, floating lunch, and rooftop dinner. You can tell that this place is trying hard to reinvest into the property. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped me arrange a welcome anniversary surprise for my wife. We booked a partial sea view room....
