"Room Air Conditioning sucks. The management says guests can not control the temperature below 22°C (71°F). That's ridiculous. With outside temperatures soaring above 33°C (90°F) and humidity levels 70%+, the rooms are hot. When you come into the room, tired and sweaty, it sucks because you can't get it below 22°C. "Part of the Anantara riverside resort. While it is a little further out of the main central areas, the shuttle boat runs regularly to connect to the train lines at Saphan Taxin. Lovely modern hotel. "Firstly, before booking, please note that the roads leading to the resort are curvy, steep hills. Therefore, walking around to explore is not really feasible. However, the resort does provide a free shuttle to take you to Patong Beach (located at the bottom of the hill). "The steps leading to the lift is very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. Should find a solution to make it easier. Not to mention the area is so small and narrow. Becomes very congested during high traffic. "
