Temptation Cancun Resort All Inclusive - Adults Only

2/10 Terrible

"We’re one and done. We stayed at Temptation Cancun for 4 nights and expected much more considering we paid about a lot per night. We booked a Trendy Garden View room, and it was small, outdated, and in a building without an elevator. There was nothing special about it, especially for the price. My husband and I are in our early 30s, and we didn’t enjoy the pool or night parties. The crowd was not what we expected, and most guests were much older. If you’re looking for a younger, high-energy atmosphere, this may not be the place for you. The food was okay but nothing memorable. Sea Flirt was the only restaurant we truly enjoyed. The staff, however, were excellent. The waiters, bartenders, bellmen, and cooks were all friendly and provided great service. The biggest issue was the VIP/Premier membership presentation. They tell you it’s only 30 minutes, but ours lasted nearly 3 hours. They seem to identify first-time guests by their wristband color and actively target them for these sales pitches. Once you’re in their office, the pressure starts. They make a lot of promises and try hard to convince you to purchase a membership package that is really expensive. After reviewing the details and speaking with a lawyer friend, we found many loopholes and conditions that were not clearly explained. The sales team was extremely persistent and would not take no for an answer. Be careful and don’t let them waste your vacation time. Just enjoy the resort and pool."

"A very clean hotel with good food and very friendly staff. The staff continuously walked around with smiles and were very friendly to us, guests, and appeared to have fun amongst themselves. All in all, it appeared they were genuinely happy to work there. The staff kept cleaning the pool side and restrooms during the day, the rooms were cleaned daily and mini bar (included in the all inclusive) was restocked daily as well. Plenty of variety with food, great buffet for all main meals. The à la cart restaurants were OK, not really great as it was rather bland. We ate all meals at the buffet as a result which was great."

"We loved the resort. Beautifully decor, ambitious, very spacious and large. The quality of the food was great. The staff was very friendly and always smiling and helpful. There were a couple of things we were not happy with and it was the sales people always trying to sale timeshares to the point that we were even woken up to the phone aggressively ringing until we answered and the seaweed on the beach."

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms were clean and big. Entertainment was nice and there was always some event going on, not to mention the beach being just steps away. The food was good not great, some restaurants were much better than others like the Italian and Steakhouse. Overall, had a great time, I would absolutely recommend staying here."
