"I recently stayed at Xcaret Resort and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The overall cleanliness was far below expectations. The room was dirty upon arrival, which immediately made the stay uncomfortable. The beach, which is usually the highlight of a resort, was also not well maintained. "Beautiful clean hotel! Overall our 6 night stay was great, beach is clean and beautiful. However the front desk was not very welcoming when we first arrived. We couldn't help to notice and didn't like that there was a male host at the Agave restaurant that was rude shouting at a couple that seating was closed. The food was good but definitely not as bad as some people complain in reviews, but can always be better. Ricardo the Bartender was AWESOME and is a hard worker. Make sure you tip him!...

"Stayed 5 nights with my wife and 6-month-old. This is a VERY family-oriented resort. If you're not travelling with kids, it likely isn't the right fit. Beach is minimal. Pools are meh, and the tiling is in rough condition. Plenty of chairs, but only because we were there during shoulder season. Food was the highlight and the main reason we booked. It met expectations... consistently fresh, well-prepared, and strong vegetarian options/menus across all restaurants. Good non-alcoholic selection...

"The food was ok, the staff was awesome but the worst thing was that presentation that We were kind of forced to attend, they keep us hostage for almost 4 hours while I am saying over and over again that I don't want to commit.
