"good vacation "

"Second trip to excellence Punta Cana. Disappointed with stay. Quality of property decreased since February 2025. Simply insufficient amount of chairs by the pool as well as on the beach. Guests have to be fighting it out to get a chair. Not enough staff. Quality of food at restaurants is also down. As is quality of serving staff. Non challant on one hand for older personnel and untrained for newer personnel. It is also tale of two different resorts under the same roof. Guests at the excellence club side had a lot more chairs as well as personal service. We paid top dollar to have an ocean view room, for almost the same amount we could have stayed in a garden view room at the club side with definitely higher level of service. I would not recommend this resort. "

"The property is quite nice, but the food is absolutely terrible! There was no variety and the quality of the meats/produce was terrible. The beach front was nice and so were the pools and the water park. "

"Excellence El Carmen was "AMAZING". It lives up to its name. Multiple restaurants, food was delicious, friendly staff, plenty of bars and the weather was fabulous. You can't ask for much more. I highly recommemd staying in the Excellence Club. Complete suite of amenities. Looking to book a return visit."

" Very clean rooms and resort overall. Staff was welcoming and accommodating! Good variety of restaurant options along with the 2 buffets which had a great selection. If you can get a massage, Juliana and her team are amazing. We had deep tissue and a relaxing massages. First massage for my 14 yr old granddaughter, she’s hooked. We enjoyed our week and plan to return next year! Bring your spf 50 sunscreen and aloe Vera after sun lotion 😉"

"Good hotel good people good pools but bad food The ketchup taste really bad and mayonnaise worst we stay from Sunday to Thursday and after checkout we stay more days but in other resort because we feel like we didn’t have alot of fun . "
