"We were warmly greeted by several staff members upon arrival at the hotel. As a young couple (24 & 25), we were initially a little apprehensive, as we’ve previously found that some high-end hotels can make us feel uncomfortable- perhaps because of our age. "We had a wonderful first stay at the Standard. The hotel is very up market and our room was spacious and stylish with modern amenities. We stayed in a suite with a dining area, bath in the room and balcony. It was perfect for our first family trip away with our one year old daughter.
