"Our AC didn’t work the first night. They did repair it pretty promptly, but we ended up having to change rooms and they gave us a small credit for that inconvenience. "People were friendly and hotel was nice and clean. The only thing is rooms don't have microwave nor a fridge and we couldn't bring any cold items to the room, nor did they have an ice machine no where. Room was clean and beds were comfortable but pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The only thing that wasn't good, the bathroom ceiling had a big yellow stain, like water damage. "The hotel had canceled our reservation stating our credit card was declined . I never gave them my card Expedia card were up to date credit card declined transaction because of out of state I was in flight and was not notified.

"In overall everything was okay, the hotel located in a very busy area, next to penn station and madison sq garden, so getting there and from there is pretty easy, no matter if you come from JFK or EWR.
I don't know if other floors are remodeled, but my floor (33rd) felt very old, but maintained. The room was very clean, which is the most important thing to me."

"Upon arrival, told we’d been “upgraded” to the West House next door. Sounded exciting with promises of included breakfast and happy hour. We ended up in a room with no bathroom counter and no air conditioning. Should’ve been a sign when there was a stand alone fan in our room. The room didn’t go below 75 once.
The front desk staff was wonderful, their only saving grace."
