"The reservation receptionist, Nichole, was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The subway was literally below the hotel making it easy to get around. Time square was a short walk with plenty of shopping and dining options all around. This was great for our first stay with my preteens in NYC. Can’t wait to go back. "

"I love the Jane! Staff is always courteous and easy. My only complaint is that each floor always has one shower door that won’t stay open after use. Those showers smell because they never air out. Mildew smell is awful compared to the shower where the door is always open. I made this suggestion before but I guess it fell on deaf ears. I’ve stayed on every floor…shows how often I return. ;)) Other than that….I will always return"

"My favorite place to stay when I visit NYC!! Staff is very nice and helpful. The rooftop view is AMAZING. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. So many places close by to go eat or visit. Make sure you visit the bodega 5 min from Pod. They are open 24 hrs and have so much to offer! The make fresh juices. Delicious"

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "I’ve stayed at The Empire before and will again! The location is perfect and the rooftop pool and bar/restaurant with views is a quiet perfect spot. I wish the pool was open later and that it was accessible by elevator without going thru the restaurant. Just my own small preferences: 10/10 !"
