"I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in New York City; while the location is great, the service was disappointing—our deposit was charged twice and the reception staff were not helpful despite multiple follow-ups, forcing us to go through our bank with no clear resolution yet. The advertising is misleading as photos show balconies, but the building has none, and basic items like toothpaste were unavailable, plus the elevators were very slow."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to help us when we arrived. "We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. "There was a very squeaky door in room near by or above us that seemed to be used all night and day. So loud it woke me a couple of times. The bellman was very friendly and helpful. I felt misled when I asked for a King and it wasn’t a traditional sized king. When I enquired at the desk they just brushed it off like everyone should know that New York has smaller kings. "We stayed here for our family spring break trip. The rooms are small. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a good location, walking distance to Times Square and a great diner called Skylight Diner. Breakfast at the hotel is not included but delicious.
