Pool staff also amazing ! we also had a room at the front of the hotel and had the pleasure of a private quartet and opera singing below our room on our last night !! "Loved the authentic Italian feel and renovated villas. Felt very immersed in the culture. The pool was beautiful and relaxing after a very busy few weeks of travelling. Would have liked onsite dining availability however we did wander down the street and found a wonderful pizzeria for lunch."

"There is nothing bad about this property, but you should know what you are getting. The staff there are excellent. The breakfast is definitely above and beyond. But on the other side, there is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, this is not going to be a fit. Some of the rooms have their own bathrooms, some have a shared bathroom. I did not see that I had the latter until after I booked. The bathroom on my floor was quite cramped for space. The location is central to the major sites...
