"One word - avoid. What ypu see in the description and in reviews is NOT what you get. The room was facing the main road and the constant, non-stop noise was unbearable. The breakfast was horrible. £12.50 extra for 1x burnt bacon, uncooked hash brown and a pathetic looking uncooked sausage. Plus a fried egg complete with a hair. "I loved my stay at Malmaison!! Apart from the novel concept, the property was very beautiful and well-maintained, it was centrally located, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was nervous about the lack of AC in standard cell rooms during the heatwave, but the building’s cooling system + fan was incredibly effective.
