"Arrived, checked bathroom, toilet hadn’t been flushed. Daughter went to wash make up off, mirror broken. Reported and moved rooms. The room we were moved to was also a twin but a better room, more space nice window with blind. Would’ve thought rooms were equal but not. Staff who dealt with room swap were lovely and asked why broken mirror hadn’t been noticed. I wondered same myself including toilet clean/inspection. Great location, parking nearby. It didn’t feel like any hotel I have stayed...

"Very clean and comfortable room. Modern and well maintained. Staff were very good. The hotel is a bit far out of Oxford and the bus while convenient it took an average of 45 mins in and out of town. There is no restaurant which is a problem given the location. What is on offer nearby in terms of food outlets was very poor. The bar was inadequate and the bar menu very limited and not of a good quality."

"The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. No lunch or dinner service in the restaurant. Breakfast was perfunctory at best, sticky tables and food that wasn't hot. Tea in mugs like a works canteen. I didn't bother with breakfast after the first day. My single room was okay but shabby. No privacy in the bathroom unless a roller blind, that didn't work properly and was damaged, was down. Sink didn't drain properly and shower adjuster broken. Constant noise during the night with deliveries....

"A really nice place to stay with a good morning breakfast and onsite parking. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, you may wish to request a room on the ground floor or perhaps the next floor up. My wife is 76 and I am 78 and we found it difficult to carry our heavy suitcases up to the top floor especially as you need to negotiate a tight corner in the staircase. This is a really nice place to stay and it has a nice backyard with seating areas."

You can also use the wheels in Oxford (scooters mostly available) and the X3 bus was very convenient. "The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. "This is as honest as i can be. Firstly the location is fine, we got lucky as there was a festival on over the road, if that hadnt been on at that time then you are quite a distance from Towm centre. If you drive then i would 100% book elsewhere, we paid over £900 for 3 nights and although it states in the advert no parking available they are not being very transparent in telling you there is no parking on the street without a permit which although they are chwrging what they charge the property...
