"Beautiful old building with spacious rooms but ambience and decor are stunted by poor management and maintenance. The bed frame was too big for the mattress, leaving a 1/2 foot gap all round the bed in which the meagre pillows often got lost. The mattress was too big for the bed linen. "The whole venue is simply amazing. Beautiful building, great atmosphere, very cosy with the multiple log fires. Our room (Blenheim suite) was absolutely stunning. There is nothing I would change about this place! Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back, next time we will eat dinner here (we only stayed here to visit Clarkson’s Farm and the Farmer’s Dog but were left underwhelmed with the food in the Farmer’s Dog)."

"I've stayed here a few times now for work. Good location. Easy parking. Friendly staff - every single one of them - from reception, to bar staff, to cleaners, gym staff. Cannot fault them! Nothing is too much! Food is amazing. I am yet to bave a bad meal there. Gym and pool - both bot overly big in size - but they've never been too busy to use. This will definately be a regular for me.
