"The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

"I had a good time in tanjung rhu report. Not only is peaceful, the ambience is simply just welcoming. Food is great, staff are friendly and room is so comfortable, big and clean! The money i paid for with my family is simple so worth it. I wish to thanks to their manager Hafiz Hashim and customer service lady Izzati not to forget the porter service young guy for being so attentive to my needs and helping me with my late check out and arranging my baggage and taxi to the airport. "A quick one night stay before attending office event the following day. Location was very good right in the middle of Pantai Cenang. Everything was within walking distance. The facilities was not bad either."

"Old hotel. Thin walls, can hear neighbour’s conversations loud and clear. Housekeeping is abysmal. Of the 7 days we were there. There was only one day that housekeeping cleaned the room properly. No sound insulation from outside. You can hear the planes landing/taking off at all hours of the night."

"Frangipani remains a relaxing choice on Langkawi. A little tired in places but still green and spacious with direct access to a long patch of quiet beach. Good breakfast 50 rm . Immediate locality is disappointing several sites along road derelict post COVID and fewer local eateries but hotel itself remains well run"
