"We had spoken with Jorge about a 90 min presentation in exchange for two 80 min massages. We were promised it wouldn’t be more than 90 minutes and its was a No Pressure presentation. It took us 3 hrs total and they kept pressing us to buy and sign. Magically Jorge was gone the rest of the duration of our trip. The only good restaurants were Dos Almos and Ember. Suki had the worst sushi we have ever experienced. The Italian restaurants food was over cooked and bland. The resort is beautiful but...

"I really enjoyed my stay at Copal. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt to all my requests. The location is in a great area and not that far from the city. I gave this property four stars because of the condition of my door. There were times that I could not lock it, which was kind of scary at night. But other than that, I would definitely stay here again."

"I really liked the resort. It’s not a huge resort and there is zero shade anywhere in the pool. Maybe one little area would be nice. Staff was super friendly, everyone says hi when they pass you which is nice. In the buffet the tables weren’t really sanitized, they were just wiped off with a dry cloth. And the AC was more like cool air which made it VERY humid in our room. "
