"I traveled solo to the lodge for a much needed time of rest and recharging. My time at the Banning House did not disappoint. It was incredibly relaxing, quiet and peaceful. I felt at home being able to lounge in any of the many comfy nooks and read. The wine and cheese experience was wonderful and the ability to grab a snack or a refreshment at any time was great. "I’ve stayed at this hotel off and on for close to 20 years and while it was in need of a renovation when I was younger, it is quite lovely now! Everything was spotless, bed was comfy, good room over all. Front desk ladies were friendly. I believe the sweet owner (?) was there on the porch every morning and waved us goodbye and to have a nice day. I love this place cuz the prices are affordable and the hotel itself is historic and has pleasant accommodations. Will most likely stay here next time...

"Catalina Courtyard is a lovely hotel, but what truly made our stay stand out was the amazing staff and their convenient luggage service. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed a safe spot to store our bags after checkout. The charming courtyard, complete with a cozy fire pit and complimentary coffee and snacks, made it even better. We’d definitely choose to stay here again!"

The property was well-maintained, in excellent condition, and decorated exceptionally well. Rooms are small but very classy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and outgoing.
