Loved the location of this property with amazing views all round. Our rooms were gorgeous, very spacious, and again with amazing views over the ocean and hills. The rooms also had great character. I found the buffet breakfast to be a little disappointing, considering the price of the hotel, though the freshly prepared omelets were very good. The shuttle service up and down the hill worked fine for our party of four and anyone with reasonable mobility can handle the walk down the hill without using the shuttle. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself is very cool with fantastic views of Avalon. Our room was nice and well maintained. The hotel offers convenient golf cart service to/from the ferry port as well as downtown. However, our experiences with the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. Their patience seemed low, they offered little information without prying, and there were a couple of mistakes that created inconvenience and issues for us. Given its relative lack of competition on the island, it's still one of the best places to stay. But for the price, it has not earned an enthusiastic recommendation from our group.

For us, they gave exactly what was shown in the photos when we booked, and the ocean view was amazing. Room 106 has the best view! The staff were excellent and very accommodating. They also offer a free shuttle, which is very convenient since the hotel is located on a mountain. Definitely coming back!

The hotel was amazing but the service was the real gem! The employees at the hotel were very kind and accommodating to our needs! My father was had low sugar and I was scattering for anything to help his situation a wonderful woman from the front desk had candy which stabilized him! This property was absolutely darling, we had the pleasure of staying in a room with a balcony and got to enjoy the island views all evening long.
