"We just returned from Catalina and our room at the hotel Mac Rae was perfect for my teen son and I. It was a perfect location, being right in the center of everything. I loved having a fridge and coffee maker in the room and the room was SUPER clean and cute!! My 16 year old loved being able to walk down to the basketball and volleyball courts to go play and not having mom tag along! "We enjoyed the location. It was within walking distance to the beach/bay. The room had a view overlooking the street/main entrance. They offered a free light breakfast (bagel/muffin, coffee/juice). And there are restaurants within walking distance, with more complete menu of options, which we opted for. The staff were great. And the hotel is historical. Upon arrival you should know there is no elevator. So be prepared to hike the classic stairs if you're on the upper 3rd and 4th floors. If...
