"I’ve stayed at Marriott properties before and have always had positive experiences, so I was looking forward to celebrating my birthday at the AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach. Unfortunately, this particular property fell short of my expectations.
The partial ocean view was beautiful, and I appreciated being accommodated with an early check-in and late checkout. However, the cleanliness of my room was disappointing. I noticed hair on the bathroom counters and in the shower, and the floors did not...

"We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the whole resort. It is in need of general repair (toilet paper holder coming off wall), etc. A section of the hotel had a sewer back up. They did move us to new room but we were there without a bathroom for hours. We had asked for additional items at 4 pm the night before and only received them at 8 pm because we called again for them. Office was unattended and you had to call for someone to come if you needed anything."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Conrad! The suite was perfect and spacious and definitely felt like it fit the caliber of hotel. It met all of our needs as we were traveling with our infant so we needed a kitchen to wash and sterilize bottles etc. so it was a great choice for us.
The property is right on the beach so it was easy to walk to restaurants etc and get around, especially with our stroller. They also gave us a real crib (not a pack n play) for the room which was hugely...
