Definitely in the tourist zone. But if you find the grocery supermarket this was the place to spend at. If you don’t drink (hard alcohol prices), want quiet and a gorgeous view and scenery in Cancun. "Beautiful location with wonderful staff who are always happy to help. There were a few areas of the property that needed some maintained better, and the beach should be far more accessible to those with mobility issues who cannot handle stairs. We were unable to visit one of the restaurants because of that issue. Food could use a lot of help. The only two places with food that actually tasted good was the sports bar and the hibachi location. Buffet breakfast was also amazing. "

"Found out that booking through Expedia gave us VIP perks at Sandos...that was a nice surprise! Really liked the the three pools, little different vibes at each one. Lots of activities to participate in and evening entertainment was good that we attended, starts kind of late but thats due to people who have late dinner reservations.
